Transportation Information

Dear Families,

Welcome back! We are so excited to begin another school year together. As we ease back into our daily routines, please keep in mind that the first days always bring a bit of adjustment, including enhanced morning traffic, new school drop offs, newly minted teen drivers, and of course, those first day jitters.

We kindly ask everyone to be patient, with one another, with our schools, and especially with our school buses, as drivers learn new routes and students settle into their schedules.

At Bellingham High School, in particular, please note an important adjustment at dismissal. At 2:00 p.m., the pick up line and student lot will be held briefly to allow all buses to exit campus together as a single convoy. This process, which takes only three to five minutes, helps keep afternoon bus runs on time across the district. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in allowing the buses to exit without delay.

Thank you so much for your patience, support, and partnership as we launch what promises to be a fantastic school year. Have a wonderful first day and an amazing start to the year ahead.

Sincerely,

Dr. Cutler

Attention Bellingham Families!

We’re excited to share the 2025–2026 Late Bus Stop Lists for both Bellingham Memorial School and Bellingham High School – Home of the Hawks!

Whether you're on the North side or the South, we've got your after-school transportation covered. These late bus stops help ensure that students who stay after school for extra support or enrichment can still get home safely.

North Late Bus Stops include: Curtis Apartments, Bellwood Condos, The Charles Apartments, Rawson & Sagamore, Farm Street intersections, and more!

South Late Bus Stops include: Fox Run, Chestnut & South Main, Mann Street, Pulaski Blvd, Lake Street, 377 Center, and many more—right down to Douglas Drive near the bus yard!

These stops will go into effect for the 2025–2026 school year. Please review the list carefully and plan accordingly.

Just a reminder: Late buses are available only for students participating in after-school academic activities or school-sponsored clubs.

All other after-school arrangements—such as visits to the public library, going to a friend’s house, or other non-school-related activities—must have alternative transportation arranged ahead of time.

If you have any questions please contact your building Principal or contact me directly at dcutler@bpsdk12.org

Sincerely,
